DECATUR, Ala. (AP) - Decatur police say a 15-year-old pregnant
girl caught shoplifting baby clothes said she thought she was going
Lt. Jonathan Green, a Decatur police spokesman, says the girl, who was accompanied by an adult, was seen Monday by a Sears loss
prevention officer attempting to leave the store with 19 baby outfits.
Green says store officials called paramedics, who determined the girl was not going into labor.
Police say the girl was charged with third-degree theft and was released to the custody of her mother.
