BIRMINGHM, Ala. (AP) - Former Alaska governor and Republican
vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will visit Alabama next
Palin is expected to speak at a fundraiser for Rainbow Omega, a
Birmingham-based nonprofit providing residential care, health care
and vocational programs for developmentally disabled adults, on May
11, at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel.
In a release, the organization says Palin's topic will be
"Dreams for My Child's Future: My Views as an Advocate for Those
With Developmental Disabilities."
Palin's son Trig is developmentally disabled.
