Alabama man arrested on consecutive days

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Police say a Tuscaloosa man was charged
with armed robbery a day after he was arrested on an unrelated
charge following a foot chase.

Tuscaloosa police spokesman Officer Brent Blankley says 29-year-old Rashawn Holifield is accused of robbing a Dollar Tree store on Monday.

Blankley says that a day earlier, Holifield was charged with breaking and entering a vehicle.

He says Holifield ran from officers, who caught him and booked him into the Tuscaloosa County Jail after he was treated for cuts he received while climbing a fence during the chase.

Blankley says Holifield is being held on $60,000 bail for the
robbery charge.
