Bright spoke about the current cotton situation and the toll this year's heavy rainfall has taken on local farmers. He adds, even with a difficult year, famers are receiving help.

“We got our counties in District 2 declared as disaster areas as a result of the abundance of water and rain and as a result of that some of these farmers in this room today will be able to take advantage of some great interest loans to help reimburse them for some of the damage they received as a result of much rain,” says Representative Bobby Bright.

Bright says an advantage of today’s expo is sharing a wealth of information between farmers.

Being part of the Corruptocrat majority in Congress doesn't leave him much else to talk about.

I think that Bright sent me a piece of mail that said he wanted to freeze veterans' checks at the current level for the next three years. Is this right, Bright? I doubt that too many veterans will go fot that idea.
