Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Dr. Robert Bentley shared his platform Wednesday with the Coffee County Republican Women.

Bentley has been a physician for 34 years, and has served on the state legislature for eight years.

He told members he has the most experience of anyone running, especially when it comes to dealing with budgets.

“You have to work with the other side. Even though I've been a Republican all my life, you still have to work together. If you're going to get any of your goals accomplished, you have to do it in a bipartisan way,” says Bentley.

Bentley is currently proposing a bill in the House that will give employers a deduction of half an employee's salary if they hire someone off of unemployment.
