Support Grows for Electronic Bingo

An Associated Press survey of Alabama legislator’s shows support has grown during the last year for a proposal that would keep Alabama’s electronic bingo casinos open and levy taxes on them.

But the numbers are still short of what proponents need to win.

An AP survey taken in late December and early January found that 41 percent of both the House and Senate said they would vote for a constitutional amendment to make sure electronic bingo is legal and to place taxes and regulations on it.

That's up from 36 percent of the house and 37 percent of the senate that favored the constitutional amendment in an AP survey a year ago.

Passing a constitutional amendment requires three-fifths of the House and Senate.

Bingo in any form is gambling pure and simple. We try to legislate a.k.a rationalize away this one fact. In God's word it says that when you put the almighty dollar ahead of the Lord Jesus Christ, This is idolatry pure and simple This message is not meant for those who don't know better. I know for fact that there are many Christians who support Bingo. I used to play Bingo myself until I learned better. Folks this old world is not going to last much longer. We can see it in the environment we can read it in God's word soon enough the one who made the rose, the one who put the worlds in space, Jesus will come back. What then dear ones. We need to give our hearts to Him before it is too late. It has everything to do with bingo because what we do or don't do about it could be the deciding factor in our salvation. I for one do not want it how about you.
