MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - There is another white powder scare in
Montgomery's Municipal Court Building was evacuated about 10:40
a.m. Tuesday because workers found an envelope containing a white
powder. Mayor Todd Strange said some employees were exposed to the white powder. A hazardous materials team was called to the court
building as a precaution.
Nine letters containing white powder have been found at public
offices in Alabama since Sunday. Those letters were sent to
Republican members of Alabama's congressional delegation.
The municipal court letter is different from that pattern.
