MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Two coastal Alabama counties have been
approved for federal disaster assistance to help with cleanup from
Tropical Storm Ida.
Gov. Bob Riley announced new Federal Emergency Management Agency
funding Wednesday for Mobile and Baldwin counties. The money will
go to state and local governments and some nonprofit relief
organizations for the repair and replacement of buildings and other
facilities damaged during the early November storm.
