CLANTON, Ala. (AP) - Workers at the Chilton County Extension Office were faced with a tough question: What do you do when a deer comes to visit?
A buck crashed through a window at the county office in Clanton on Monday.
He wound up in the kitchen and tried to get out by ramming a glass door but couldn't break it.
The deer became trapped in another room. An animal control officer was able to shoot it with a tranquilizer gun, and the buck was tied up, carried outside and released later in the day.
Officials say the animal should be fine.
No people were hurt either.
The office was closed for the holidays.
