FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) - Florence police say they have arrested a man in the killing of a Sheffield man.

The TimesDaily reports that 30-year-old Vincent Lavert Ingram turned himself in to police at 1:15 p.m. Friday in the killing of 33-year-old Rudy Stanback. The victim was shot twice after an argument at a party and died at a hospital just after 2 a.m. Friday.

Detective David Bradley said Ingram became a suspect after statements by witnesses. He is charged with murder and was being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on $250,000 bail.

Bradley said Ingram's attorney contacted police and arranged for Ingram to turn himself in.
