Man acquitted in death of Spanish Fort businessman

BAY MINETTE, Ala. (AP) - Baldwin County Circuit Court jurors found Leslie Eric Buzbee innocent of all charges Friday.

It was the third time Buzbee was tried in the August 2007 death
of 71-year-old Arthur "Bobby" Wilson.

Prosecutors accused him of beating and robbing the Spanish Fort service station owner. They said the attack was fueled by Buzbee's need for crack cocaine. Wilson died four months after the beating.

The Press-Register reports that the first trial ended with a
hung jury in May, and the second attempt was declared a mistrial shortly after it started in August.
