Mobile, Ala. (AP) - A jury will resume deliberations Friday in the trial of former Mobile County Circut Judge Herman Thomas.
The jury of seven women and five men deliberated about two hours Thursday abefore recessing for the day.
The jury heard seven days of testimony on charges accusing Thomas of paddling and sexually abusing young men who appeared before him in court.
Prosecutors said Thomas led a dual life of community leader and sexual predator.
Defense attorneys said he's the victim of lying inmatesmanipulating the court system.
