A University of Alabama fraternity is likely to keep its charter after being accused of hazing.
University of Alabama spokeswoman Deborah Lane said Wednesday
the school is recommending the Kappa Sigma chapter "resume its
activities" after an investigation.
University staff were tipped off to possible hazing at the chapter and launched an investigation on Sept. 24.
The chapter's operations were suspended by the national fraternity during the probe.
Lane said members involved in the alleged hazing have been
referred to the school's judicial affairs department.
