New Trio Houston County Comes Home For Music Video Shoot

Open Casting Call This Week in Dothan, AL

Nashville, TN - An open casting call will be held this Friday, October 9th in Dothan, AL, for the debut music video by country music newcomers Houston County. The project will receive national exposure on CMT, GAC and a variety of video outlets.

All ages are needed for the music video for the band’s debut single, “I Can’t Make It Rain.” An enthusiastic cast is needed to play fans and concertgoers, ages 18-40. In addition, the video’s producers are seeking extras of all ages and ethnicities for other scenes throughout the clip.

The video will be helmed by CMT Award-winning “Director Of The Year” Trey Fanjoy. Known for her work with superstars Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, George Strait, Alan Jackson and Reba McEntire, Fanjoy has also been the recipient of numerous CMA, ACM, Billboard and CMT Music Awards.

Houston County is comprised of brothers Zack and Adam Hooper and John Milldrum. The band takes its name from the county where the musicians first began to collaborate and currently reside. The trio is signed to Nashville’s Stroudavarious Records, a division of Ronnie Gilley Entertainment.

No experience is necessary for those responding to the casting call. Photos and video of applicants will be taken on site at the Holiday Inn Dothan South. Casting will begin promptly at 3:00 p.m. and continue through 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The producers request that those wishing to be considered for the production not wear clothing that features logos or slogans and avoid team jerseys.
