BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - A man accused of molesting a child younger than 12-years-old has lost his bid to avoid registering as a sex offender.
The Alabama Court of Civil Appeals rejected Leon Prince's claim that the judge was biased ruling that he had to register.
Prince was convicted in Jefferson County in 1991 of molesting a child and got out of prison in 2006.
His case now goes back to the lower court to decide if his crime was an offense subject to the Community Notification Act applied to sex offenders.
