Henry County is just hours away from having a state of the art disaster alert system.
At midnight tonight the system called "Code Red" will go on line.
The system allows county leaders to send messages of disasters to residents' cell phones who have previously signed up for the program.
Today, local leaders participated in a scenario exercise to prepare launching the system.
