Two brands of bunched spinach are being recalled after routine testing detected salmonella at a Salinas Valley distributor.
Ippolito International is recalling nearly 2,000 cartons of spinach harvested from September first through 3rd, and sold to retail, foodservice and wholesale buyers.
The bulk of the cartons were packed under the "Queen Victoria" label and shipped to several states including Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.
No related illnesses have been reported.
