AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn University has created what amounts
to an orange-and-blue version of Facebook.
The school has launched its own social networking site, an
Internet network called "Auburn Family" that functions much other
social sites like Facebook or MySpace. It lets users upload
Auburn-related photos, videos and blogs, and members can message
The site opened last week and has more than 100 members so far.
School officials say it's designed to connected Auburn students,
faculty, alumni, staff, parents and fans.
