A Panama City man is in jail after a Tuesday morning traffic stop uncovers methamphetamine.
26-year-old John Carter was stopped just after one o’clock in the morning for a broken brake light by a Walton County Sherriff’s Deputy.
Authorities say Carter had a small bag of crystal-meth on him.
In addition, he had active warrants for violation of probation out of Washington County.
Carter was placed under arrest for driving on a suspended license, attaching a tag not assigned to his vehicle, and possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell.
He was transported to the Walton County Jail, and is expected to make his first court appearance Wednesday in DeFuniak Springs.
