Madison County woman held in slaying after search

MADISON, Ala. (AP) - A woman is in custody after being hunted
down in a homicide case in Madison County.

Police arrested 49-year-old Kimberly McLaughlin on Sunday
afternoon. Authorities used search dogs and a helicopter to track
her down.

Authorities haven't released the name of the victim. But the
search began after a body was found inside a burning home in a
subdivision in Madison. McLaughlin was arrested less than three
hours later.
