Today, a local group presented a check for $10,000 dollars to a program aimed at helping children diagnosed with autism.
The Dothan Service League held its annual brunch at the Dothan Country Club Friday morning.
The group raised money throughout the year for various other causes, including the popular "Meals on Wheels" program.
But the president of the Dothan Service League says raising money for autistic children has been the group's main focus.
The Dothan service league also presented several area students with scholarships.
