MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Democratic candidate for governor Ron
Sparks has scheduled a news conference to announce his plan to
repair and build new roads and bridges across Alabama.

Sparks is the commissioner of the Alabama Department of
Agriculture and Industries.

He will hold a news conference at 11 a.m. Thursday on the front
steps of the Alabama Statehouse.

    let me guess, ron sparks will want to have a statewide lottery and casinos on every block and then use the profits to fix roads and bridges. He does the same song and dance to every funding issue....gamble gamble gamble. Well, Ron, voters will certainly not gamble with your weak and old ideas. Oh wait, Mark Culver and Harri Smith may like them...
