MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - A Mobile man who claimed self-defense in a fatal shooting in which the victim was shot eight times has been acquitted of a murder charge.
Christopher Cunningham was acquitted of murdering Daniel McGee on Thursday by a Mobile jury after five hours of deliberations over two days.
The 27-year-old Cunningham, an offshore worker, testified that
McGee had often threatened him and demanded money that Cunningham didn't owe.
