Alabama PSC president to return from broken hip

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The president of the Alabama Public
Service Commission, Lucy Baxley, has recovered from a broken hip
and plans to attend the commission's meeting Tuesday.

Baxley's executive assistant, Lisa Parish, said Thursday that Baxley is doing well since breaking her hip in a fall July 7 and has been working from home during her recovery.

The PSC had originally planned to meet Aug. 4, but it postponed
the meeting three weeks to allow Baxley time to return.
