Helicopter makes emergency landing in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - An Army Black Hawk helicopter has made a "controlled landing" in south Huntsville.

The helicopter landed safely a bit after noon Monday in a field near Whitesburg Baptist Church.

None of the three people on board the helicopter reported any injuries.

Dan O'Boyle, Army spokesman at nearby Redstone Arsenal, said the pilot landed the helicopter as a precaution after noticing an engine light had come on.
