BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Birmingham police say a mother of three was fatally shot while in a car with her young children.
Police said Friday that 23-year-old Rosetia Smith was fatally shot on Thursday morning.
She was pronounced dead after being taken to UAB Hospital in a private car with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police said the woman was shot in the vehicle while her three children were inside.
The children's ages range from 7 months to 6 years.
Police haven't made any arrests in the killing.
