Decatur man drowns in Tennessee River while wading

DECATUR, Ala. (AP) - A Decatur man in his early 50s apparently drowned while wading in the Tennessee River with some family

The man's cousin, Howard Kelly, said William Henderson Payne was
wading in about three feet of water Thursday when he submerged and
did not resurface.

Decatur Fire and Rescue divers recovered the body about 1:28

Decatur police and the Alabama Marine Police were investigating
the incident.
