Father arraigned on a murder charge

A Worcester man accused of beating his 7-year-old son into a coma on Father's Day is set to be arraigned on a murder charge.

Prosecutors say Leslie Schuler will be arraigned Tuesday afternoon in Central District Court.

He is being held on $250,000 cash bail following his court appearance last week for assault and battery on a child and other charges.

Nathaniel Turner had been living with his grandmother in Eufaula, Ala., until a few weeks ago, when he moved in with his father in Massachusetts.

He was declared brain dead last week and was removed from a
ventilator Saturday at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

Investigators say 36-year-old Schuler allegedly slammed the
boy's head against a wall so hard that it left a dent inside
Schuler's Worcester home.

i think the father that beat his son to death should be fried!!! There was no reason for him doing that, his son was living with his grandmother,if he didn't want him he should've just left him with her!!!!
