OXFORD, Ala. (AP) - The commander of the Calhoun/Cleburne County
Drug Task Force says three people have been arrested in a steroid
drug bust at Dynabody Fitness in Oxford.
Lt. Chris Roberson said Wednesday the owner, Cooper Freeman of
Oxford, was arrested and charged with three counts of distribution
of a controlled substance and several counts of possession of
Roberson said the gym manager, Billy Cole of Saks, was charged
with criminal conspiracy to commit a controlled substance crime and
possession of a controlled substance and Freeman's wife, Amanda,
was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Roberson said over a five-to-six month period the task force arranged repeatedly to buy steroids from Freeman.
He said drugs were found at both homes and paperwork was found
at the gym.
