Coast Guard suspends search for Alabama woman

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - The Coast Guard has suspended its search for an Alabama woman who reportedly went overboard from a cruise ship in the Gulf of Mexico.

The Coast Guard says it covered more than 3,600 square miles in
the search for 50-year-old Michelle Vilborg of Bay Minette.

She was reported overboard late Monday night from the Carnival cruise ship Holiday.

The FBI said its violent crimes unit is investigating Vilborg's

FBI Agent Tim White said agents are looking at every possible angle.

A passenger on the cruise ship reported hearing a splash late
Monday night when the Holiday was 75 miles southwest of Pensacola,
