3 injured in boat explosion get out of hospital

FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) - The three people injured in a Saturday
evening boat explosion are out of the hospital, and the boat is out
of the water and being inspected.

Authorities confirmed Monday the victims were released from
Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.

Alabama Marine Police have not released their names.

A large crane lifted the charred boat onto a barge Monday
afternoon.

The boat was gutted by the explosion and fire.

It appears to be completely blackened, except for the outside front of
the boat, which is white with red trim.

Marine police officer Joshua Bradford said the boat was taken to
an enclosed storage facility where officials with the Fire
Marshal's office will try to determine the cause of the explosion.
