MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions is one of 10 senators that Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor is visiting on Capitol Hill.

The White House announced that Sotomayor is holding private, informal meetings with 10 senators from both political parties Tuesday.

Each meeting will last about 30 minutes.

Sessions is the ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, which will review the judge's nomination.
