Police haven't ruled on Huntsville teen's death

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - A Huntsville police spokesman says an
investigation continues into the shooting death of 16-year-old
Malik Bradford.

Police Sgt. Mark Roberts says investigators could rule Monday
whether the shooting was an accident or a homicide.

The teen was at a house at on Hammonds Ave. when he was shot at
7:49 a.m. Friday. Police say the shooter who may have been a
friend, but no charges were immediately filed.

Near the site of the shooting, several members of Bradford'
family went ahead a community gathering Saturday.

The slain teen's aunt, Cassandra Bradford, says the "take back
the neighborhood" event was sponsored by Compassion Ministry,
which several members of the Bradford family attend.
