DECATUR, Ala. (AP) - A jury deliberated a sixth day without reaching a verdict in the trial of a man accused of killing a north Alabama woman a decade ago.
Jurors will return to the Morgan County Courthouse in Decatur on Friday.
They are deciding the capital murder trial of Daniel Wade Moore, who is accused of sexually assaulting and killing Karen Tipton in 1999.
Moore's first conviction and death sentence were thrown out on
appeal because of misconduct by prosecutors.
His second trial ended in a mistrial in 2008 because jurors couldn't reach a verdict.
