MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - The Coast Guard said it rescued six people after their 18-foot pleasure boat took on water near Dauphin Island.
The Coast Guard issued a statement saying it received an emergency distress signal from the boat at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
A Coast Guard vessel was dispatched and the six were rescued
The damaged boat was escorted to the east end of the island.
