Update: Missing Boy Found

Update: Culver has been found in good condition, and will be returned to his mother.

He was found in Dothan near the Home Depot.

It is unclear why the boy went missing.

Multiple Dothan police units were dipatched and helped find the boy.


Newton Police are looking for a Dothan boy who has been missing early this morning.

11-year-old B.J. Culver was last seen on King Street in Newton at 9 a.m. this morning. The boy was at the home of a family friend while his mother was at work.

He's described at 5 foot 1 inch tall, 113 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing black gym shorts with a gray stripe and a light-colored shirt.

Police don't know if the boy ran away or was possibly abducted.
His mother claims he's never ran away from home in the past.
