Cold snap ahead for much of Alabama

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Three weeks into spring, its feeling a
lot like winter.

National Weather Service meteorologists have posted freeze
watches and warnings for late Monday through early Tuesday) morning
for dozens of counties statewide.

Some areas could see readings plummet into the upper 20s to
lower 30s.

So, you will definitely need those coats and scarves.

Subfreezing temps also mean farmers and gardeners should protect
crops and flowers already showing off spring blooms.
