Governor Riley's Office Reaction to White Hall Gambling Center Order

MONTGOMERY -- Jeff Emerson, communications director for Governor Bob Riley, issued the following statement on Saturday :

"We believe the judge should have recused himself because of his conflict of interest. We also believe his decision is fundamentally flawed and will be reversed on appeal because the Alabama Supreme Court has already ruled that slot machines are illegal in every county of Alabama. The judge's decision today is not a final order, just a preliminary injunction pending the final outcome of the case."

Is it just me or does it seem that the Gov is gonna do whatever he has to get the results he wants? the street works both ways, let people vote.. the bill could be voted down just like it could be passed. Im sick of politicians with ulterior motives. We voted for you BOB! Not the people from MS. youve been in office 1 1/2 terms and you wait til NOW to start this fight, when our area has a chance for something great to happen! What have you done for this area of the state?
