OPELIKA, Ala. (AP) - Lee County Coroner Bill Harris says a
fourteen-month-old boy is the county's latest homicide victim.
Lee County sheriff's deputies were called to a residence in
Smiths Station Sunday at about 10:30 a.m. where they found the
Harris said efforts to revive the baby were unsuccessful.
How the unnamed toddler died was not released, but his death was
ruled a homicide.
There have been no arrests or charges filed in the case.
The infant's murder remains under investigation.
