BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - A Birmingham woman has been charged with
capital murder in the death of her one-year-old daughter.
Investigators said Lakiyah Stenson died Feb. 25 at Children's
Birmingham police declined to discuss the evidence against
25-year-old Tangela Harris who was booked Monday afternoon.
The Jefferson County Coroner's office said the toddler died of neglect.
Its unclear if Harris has retained an attorney.
She was being held without bond.
