HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - A 28-year-old man has been charged with capital murder in a six-month-old slaying in Huntsville.

Police arrested Tavares Fletcher on Tuesday and charged him in the death of Jerome Edward Richard. Detectives said the victim was gunned down Aug. 8, 2008 at a Regions Bank on South Memorial Parkway.

Police said Richard was performing contract work for the bank when he was murdered.
