TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - A Hillcrest High School student in Tuscaloosa is recovering after another student cut him with a machete in the school parking lot.

He said a 17-year-old went to his car and came back with a machete and a screwdriver.
Police say he stabbed the 18-year-old victim in the upper left arm, then swung the machete and caused a large cut on the victim's right arm.
The student was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center and received stitches.
Investigators have not yet arrested the 17-year-old, but intend to charge him with assault.
