Obama's Former Pastor Invited to Selma March

SELMA, Ala. (AP) - President Barack Obama's former Chicago
pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, is among the guests invited to
attend a Selma event in March commemorating the 44th anniversary of
"Bloody Sunday."

Obama's selection for U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder, was also among those invited to a unity breakfast March 8 prior to the annual Bridge Crossing Jubilee.

Oranizers had not confirmed if either could attend.

The theme for the event this year is "The Bridge to the White House." The planning committee counted the "Bloody Sunday" attack on marchers at the Edmund Pettus Bridge 44 years ago as a stepping stone for Obama's election as the nation's 44th president.

Events like this are what fuels racial problems. Just let it go. Inviting Wright will only ignite and further separate blacks and whites. The whole event is bad enough to remember as it is. Why celebrate it??? That is exactly what is being done. You are making a celebration out of horrible murders The only racial problem I see is the blacks that want to keep shoving everything down other peoples throats. It should not be like this. If you think about something long enough it will make you angry and some black people are angry. What I cannot understand is that most of the ones bringing up the 'march' were not around for this 'Bloody Sunday.' If a white person were to get out there and start marching and celebrating anything it is called racial. It is the whites trying to make things right. But the blacks keep shoving whites back by bringing up stuff and throwing it in white peoples faces. For the record, if white people get out there and march, it is called racial.
