MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Funeral services have been announced for
a Montgomery police officer who died from injuries he suffered in a
Officer Joshua Broadway died on Sunday. He was 21.
The wreck happened Jan. 15 when a car failed to yield while
making a left turn, hitting Broadway's police cruiser and forcing
it to collide with a utility pole.
Police Captain Huey Thornton, a spokesman, said Broadway's
funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Frazer Memorial
United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Leak Memory
Chapel and also one hour prior to the funeral service at Frazer.
