Montgomery officer dies after being hurt in wreck

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a Montgomery police officer has died after he was seriously injured in a car crash earlier this month.

Police Chief Art Baylor confirmed to WSFA-TV that 21-year-old Josh Broadway died Sunday afternoon.

The wreck happened Jan. 15 when a car failed to yield while making a left turn, hitting Broadway's police cruiser and forcing it to collide with a utility pole.

The driver of the other car was not identified, but authorities said the individual wasn't injured.

The Montgomery News stated no charges were filed, I don't understand, the person Failed To Yield to the right of way. And now a Person is dead due to the stupidity of another. Dothan should let Montgomery borrow our District Attorney!
