LIVINGSTON, Ala. (AP) - A gas line explosion injured two students and two construction workers and forced an evacuation at the University of West Alabama.
University spokeswoman Meaghan Gordon said the explosion about 9:20 a.m. Thursday behind Foust Hall blew windows out of the building, which houses art classes and athletics administrative offices.
No classes were being held at the time.
Gordon said the injuries to the two students and two construction workers were not life-threatening.
Thursday night's men and women basketball games and night classes were canceled as a precaution while authorities investigate the cause of the explosion.
