MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - A pilot escaped injury Tuesday night
when he was forced to make an emergency landing on a highway south of Montgomery.
The pilot, whose name was withheld, said he was flying from Daytona, Fla., to Montgomery when his small aircraft began losing fuel in mid-flight.
He was forced to land on Highway 331
The aircraft was pulled off the highway.
Officials with the Federal Aviation Administration will inspect the plane sometime Wednesday.
