BELFOREST, Ala. (AP) - Alabama State Troopers say a 47-year-old Baldwin County bicyclist has been killed after being struck by a car.
Troopers said Clifford "Teeny Man" Williams was struck as he rode along Baldwin County 64 near his home.
Relatives said they had cautioned Williams to get more reflectors for his bicycle because of his bike riding at all hours, but he never did.
Coroner Jim Small said it appears the driver who hit Williams never did see him.
Small said Williams was wearing camouflage clothing as he rode about 8 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities identified the driver as 52-year-old Rodney Burroughs of Silverhill.
State Trooper spokesman Cpl. Joe Piggott said no charges have been filed.
