GADSDEN, Ala. (AP) - An investigator say the death of a Etowah
County man who jumped from a car is considered accidental.
Jeff Hopper, an investigator with the Etowah County Sheriff's Department, said 21-year-old Gary Hall was a passenger in a car
driven by his common-law wife. They got into an argument around
noon Monday. Hall opened the car door and jumped out. His head
struck the pavement several times and hit a mailbox pole.
The investigator said Hall died from head and chest trauma Monday night at University Hospital in Birmingham.
