Enterprise Woman Arrested for Identity Theft

A 60-year-old Enterprise woman faces a laundry list of charges for allegedly stealing another woman's identity.

Police say Karen Houston used the Social Security number and other personal information of a woman that she knew.

Houston then allegedly took out loans, wrote checks, and even attempted to secure a mortgage.

She faces a host of forgery, identity theft and bad check charges.

She reportedly has a prior arrest on fraud charges in neighboring Houston County, as well as the state of Ohio.

Her total bond at the Coffee County Jail is more than $30,000.
